Alisa Beth Piper

March 13, 1994 — May 20, 2020

Alisa Beth Piper, born March 13, 1994 to Joni and James Piper, was delivered into this world with an ever-present smile on her face. She was followed by her two brothers, James Piper and Lincoln Piper, who, although they enjoyed getting on her nerves, looked up to her as a big sister. In addition, she had several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her and will miss her very much. She briefly attended Eastern Kentucky University, and spent the past year at Bluegrass Community and Technical College where she made the Dean’s List and had intentions to attend EKU in the Fall to finish her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She worked in the food service industry and was loved by her customers and her fellow coworkers. A sports enthusiast, she played basketball, soccer, and softball throughout her youth. She followed in her mother’s footsteps and played clarinet in the Edyth J. Hayes Middle School and Henry Clay High School concert bands. Alisa was a huge fan of UK basketball and football and never missed a game. She also had immense adoration for all animals, especially her pets whom she loved dearly. This past year, Alisa was headed in a new direction when her life unexpectedly ended on May 20, 2020 at the age of 26. She will be forever remembered by her friends and family for her infectious smile and kind heart. A private service for her family will be held at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Those that are not part of the private service may watch the service on Sunday, May 24, 2020 2pm on Facebook Live on the Clark Legacy Center’s Facebook page. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Lexington Humane Society.
