Anna Marie Bryant
Sep 4, 1938 — Apr 16, 2026
Anna Bryant, born on September 4th, 1938, in Lexington Kentucky, passed away peacefully on April 16th, 2026. She was known for her unwavering spirit and kindness, but also for her deep-rooted love for her family.
Anna was a devoted mother, survived by her loving children, Steve (Dawn) Lilly, Yvonne Jennings, Tami Bivins, Angela (Nick) Smith, Katrina (Doug) Williamson, and Paula (Linville) Herald. She was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren and had the joy of many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Grace Brown, brothers Harvey Brown and Glenn Brown and sister Juanita Devine.
Anna retired from Kuhlman Electric where she worked for over 24 years on the Assembly Line. She enjoyed sports of all kinds but had a special love for the UK Wildcats basketball team, which brought her joy throughout her life.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation scheduled from 12 pm to 2 pm on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, at Clark Legacy Center – Brannon Crossing, followed by a service at 2 pm. A reception will continue until 4:30 pm to celebrate Anna’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Lexington Humane Society or to a charity of your choice. For those who may need it, grief counseling is offered through Hospice of the Bluegrass.
Anna Bryant will be remembered for her humor, warmth, love, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who knew her. She will be missed but always cherished in the memories of her family and friends.
Her wish was to have a celebration of her life and request that family and friends wear their UK blue to her memorial.
