Obituary Herbert "Herbie" Wardle Jr, 47, of Lexington, Kentucky, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer surrounded by family. He was born April 23, 1965 in Lexington to Herbert Sr. and Melrose Atwell Wardle. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Ellen Lee Smith Wardle; his sister, Annette (Attrue) Sparks; his brother, Tim Wardle; nieces, Amanda Sparks Isaacs and Lisa Sparks McCullar; great nieces and nephews Gabrielle, Elizabeth and Braxton McCullar, Amanda, Michelle, Sierra, Madison, and Bradley Smith. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of the Bluegrass for their compassionate care during this difficult time. Funeral Information His family will be having a Celebration of Herbie's life at 669 Rogers Road, Lexington, KY 40505 on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 2:00pm. Friends and Family are welcome.
