Joanne Sybil Lister

Nicholasville, KY Joanne S. Lister, 82, died October, 4, 2016. She is survived by her husband John Sidney Lister; sons Michael William (Norita) Lister, Steven John Lister and Christopher James (Joanna) Lister; a brother Robert (Doreen) Jackson and grandchildren Connor John Lister and Chase Walter Lister. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Mona (Davis) Jackson and a brother Ivan Jackson. Joanne loved to travel, both internationally and domestically. Some of her most favorite trips were across the country in the family RV. She loved to cook and her most appreciated meal was her cabbage rolls. She also used many herbs in her cooking and heeling. Joanne was a huge fan of animals, especially cats. She was known to feed the feral cats that lived near the harbor in California where they once lived. Joanna loved being a mother and a grandmother, and she was always an advocate and cheerleader for them. She will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral Information Pending
