Joyce Baldwin Logan, 85, wife of Charles Logan, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. She was a native of Midway, born on August 24, 1934 to the late Elmo and Martha Belle Baldwin. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and cousin. Joyce was a generous friend. She was always cooking, baking, sending cards, and making gifts for others.
Joyce graduated from Midway High School where she was a conscientious student and cheerleader. She was a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. Joyce was still making friends of her wonderful caregivers in her last days. They loved her immediately.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, June Ann (Jerry) Hill, Beverley Logan, and Chuck Logan; her sister, Shirley Baldwin (Joe) Sames; her grandchildren, Martha Morgan (Kevin) Carroll, Jacob Logan (Anna) Hill, and Annie Hutcherson; great granddaughters, Kate Carroll, and Maggie Lou Carroll; as well as many, many nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Lewis (Nancy) Baldwin, and Jerry Lee (Sue) Baldwin.
Due to Covid restrictions, the family requests that you remain in your cars for a drive thru visitation from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. Private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church Building Fund.
