Kerwin Allen Scott Bledsoe, known as Scott to his family and friends, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, in Lexington, Kentucky, at the age of 60, surrounded by his immediate family.

Born on January 8, 1966, in Corbin, Kentucky, to Andrew and Maude “Peggy” Jean Smoot Cotton Bledsoe. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Andre Jonathan Bledsoe. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty-five years, Shari Kelley Bledsoe and his son Antonio Scott Badgett. He also leaves behind his sister, Karen Cotton McDaniel and family, Frankfort, KY and brothers Alphonso Cornell “Bo” Cotton and family, Sacramento, CA, and Anthony Stewart “Tony” Bledsoe and family, Frankfort, KY.

Scott loved basketball and played for three high school teams: Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY)1980-81, Santa Maria Saints (CA) 1981-82, and Waipahu Marauders (HA) 1982-83. His favorite college team was always the UK Wildcats.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Clark’s Legacy, 601 East Brannon Road, Nicholasville, KY on Friday July 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. for family, and from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. for the public and friends.
