Melissa "Missy" Dennis

Missy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Meme. She was born in Havre De Grace, Maryland to her mother, Ivahlee Gamble. They travelled extensively throughout the U.S. before settling in White City, Kansas in 1973. I met here there on April 22, 1987 and we were married June 15, 1987. Sometimes in life, God says yes instantly! Our first and only son, Drew Ian Dennis, was born in Lexington Ky, June 1, 1994. He married our daughter-in-love (Katelyn) on May 30, 2015. They gave us our grandsons, Harrison (4) and Everett (2), who brought her joy, love, and motivation to fight her years-long illness. She was loved and cherished by many who will miss her dearly, including her closest family members: William H. Dennis, Darleen Dennis, Victoria Toll, Sherry Wand, Elaina Dennis, Treyc Sewell, and Kym Clements. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Linda Starr. Celebration of Missy‘s life will be at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, 619 Longview Drive, Nicholasville, KY, 40356, on November 27, at 2 PM. Dinner will follow in basement of church. Bobby Lakes will be officiating the service. All and any are welcome to attend. Thank you and I love you all dearly.
