Sandra F. Burgess

Sandra F. Burgess, 77, widow of William Douglas (Doug) Burgess, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on July 24, 1948 to the late Vivian Patterson and William Kidd. Mrs. Burgess worked as a registered nurse for DCI and she was a member of Gardenside Christian Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Amy (Darin) Osborne; sons, Joel (Michelle) Lewis, Mark Lewis; sister, Karen Traylor; granddaughter, Ashley Lewis; and great niece, Paisley Savage.

She is preceded in death by her husband and parents; and niece, Jenny King.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 27th, 2026 at 1:30pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, officiated by Bro. Dean Brewer, with visitation starting at 11:30am until the time of the service. A graveside will follow at 3pm at The Lexington Cemetery.
