Shelia Karen Ryan

Versailles – Shelia Karen Ryan, 69, wife of Dana Ryan, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018. She was born in Richmond on September 8, 1948 to the late Sherman Murphy and Juanita Estes Snapp. She was self-employed as a painter. She loved playing bingo, fishing, and working jigsaw puzzles. In addition to her husband, she was survived by daughters, Tammy (Chris) Ott, Versailles, and Sandy (Christopher Dolt) Brentlinger, Lexington; her step-son, Robert Ryan, Springfield; her step-daughter, Wendy Penwell, Lawrenceburg; her sister, Linda Landers, Georgetown; her brothers, Mike Owens, CO, and Donald Murphy, Lexington; and her grandchildren, Brittany Henderlight, Katrina Allender, Destiny Brentlinger, Nathan Dolt, and Zack Ott. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
