Shirley Ann Bledsoe

Shirley Ann Bledsoe, 83, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky on September 18, 1942 to the late Pansy Ritchie and Leslie Tipton.

She retired from General Electric after 26 years. Shirley loved Christmas and giving presents. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. Most importantly, she loved her kids and they loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kelly Coffey; son, Colin Stratton; son in law, Terry Coffey Jr.; one granddaughter, Lashae Johnson; three great grandkids, Camdyn Stewart, Kingston Hale and Kross Miller; brothers, Morris Wayne Tipton of Louisville and Julian Tipton of Winchester.

She is preceded in death by her sons, Pernell Thomas Stratton, Leslie Regan Stratton, and Jerry Wayne Bledsoe; and also proceeded in death by Thomas Tipton, William Tipton and Vernon Tipton; Sisters, Catherine Gardner, Ann Tipton and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 9:30am-11:45am at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing followed by graveside service at 12pm, Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Nicholasville.
