Marilyn June Webber
October 5, 1947 — May 20, 2026
Marilyn June Patterson Webber, 78, of Versailles, passed away and entered heaven on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. She was the beloved wife of John Wayne Webber. They recently celebrated their 60th Wedding anniversary on May 6th.
Marilyn was born on October 5, 1947, and was daughter of the late Garnett E. Patterson and Clara Belle Traugott Patterson. She grew up in Nonesuch, Kentucky in southern Woodford County. Marilyn graduated from Woodford County High School. She worked for 25 years as school bus driver in the Woodford County School System and also worked at the local Senior Citizens Center in Versailles. She was a member of Mortonsville Methodist Church. Marilyn was a sweet, quiet lady who loved life and her family very much.
She loved to do yard work and enjoyed the holidays so she could decorate her home. She was a very good cook, and everyone loved her green beans. Marilyn had a knack for fixing things around the house, and she would take on many projects and see them through to completion. In 1996 she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She steadfastly remained strong as this disease took its toll on her body and her family never heard her complain about its hardships. Her family adored her and the sweet smile she had up to the closing days of her life.
Marilyn Webber is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Audrey (Vodis) Thompson. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Russell (Sheri) Webber, Shepherdsville; Loretta (Carlos) Henson, Lexington; Rebecca Webber, Georgetown; and Crystal Webber, Lexington. Her grandchildren are Ladye Anna (David) Adams; Benjamin (Savannah) Webber; Michal Webber; Brette Webber; Jack Henson; Lyla Webber; Ella Johnson, Elijah Johnson; and four great-grandchildren, Locke and York Adams, and Hallie and Millie Webber.
