Victor Lee Ferguson
Jul 24, 1946 — Jul 4, 2026
Victor Lee Ferguson
Our hearts are grateful that we shared his journey with him. Victor Lee Ferguson – husband, father, grandfather, and friend, born on July 24, 1946, in Linton, Indiana to Ivan Arthur Ferguson and Beatrice Fern Ewbank, left this earth for his heavenly home on America’s 250th Birthday, July 4, 2026, in Winter Haven, Florida.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He loved his God and country.
Formerly a resident of Kissimmee, Florida, he was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4225, where he served from 2014-2016 as the Post Quartermaster.
Having spent much of his extensive career as a security guard, he also served for a time in Texas as a part time deputy-sheriff. Additionally, he was a truck driver for several years and enjoyed traveling the United States.
He loved motorcycles, fishing, learning and “talking politics.”
Some of his favorite memories included spending time on his grandfather’s farm (Laten Ewbank.)
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law Stanley Blaskiewicz, and his youngest daughter, Billie Jo Ferguson, who passed away at 11 months old.
He is survived by his sister, Jan Rose Blaskiewicz of Indianapolis, IN.; a daughter: Kathy Leigh Berkowitz (Winter Haven); 4 grandchildren: Joshua Lee Curtis; Aaron Michael Curtis; Phoebe Dawn Hudgins (Danville, VA); and Rachel Elizabeth Brasher (m. to David Brasher); 7 great-grandchildren: (Phoebe’s children,) Hailey Marie Andrews, Harper Elizabeth Hudgins, Nash Colin Hudgins; (Rachel’s child,) Troy Thomas Leitch; (David’s children, Anya Brasher, August Brasher, Aydin Brasher.)
He also leaves behind 2 former wives: Karen Sue Pemberton (Ferguson, mother to Kathy Leigh and Billie Jo); and Nona Matias (life-long caretaker and friend, mother of Michael Henry and Tasha Baker.) He will be dearly missed by many.
