Daniel William Hinshaw
June 7, 1967 — November 9, 2024
It is with both sadness and gratitude that we remember the life of Daniel William Hinshaw, a beloved father, brother and true original, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57. Known for his razor-sharp wit and a heart of gold, Daniel leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, boundless love, and an enduring spirit.
A man of remarkable intelligence, Daniel had a gift for solving problems in every form. Whether creating beautiful welded art, immersing himself in the gaming community he loved, exploring museums, indulging in his passion for history, or reading a good book, he approached each passion with a knowing smile and a sparkle in his eye. He was as private as he was loving, the kind of man who did not need the spotlight to leave an impression.
To his daughter Celeste, who he was immensely proud of. He was a devoted father who showed her the power of kindness, the joy of adventure, and taught her that being true to ones self is life's most important mission. To his brother David, he was a lifelong confident, a source of laughter, and the best partner in any mischief they happened to find. Though he is no longer here on this earth his legacy remains and we take comfort in knowing he is at peace still learning, still laughing, and watching over those who he loved. He may not have enjoyed a big fuss over him in life, but we are making one now because he is worth every bit of our love. We celebrate the life he lived and the people he touched.
