Frances Marie Pickering

Frances left her earthly home and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior just as the 4th of July sky began to fill with the lights and sounds of freedom. 

Born to Carl and Lueen Roberts, she was a lifetime residence of Pierce County, specifically Sumner and Bonney Lake, eventually passing away in her home in Sumner. 

Her most important accomplishments would not reference her work history at the school district or bank but her beloved family . She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Norman MCcoy, her second husband Samuel J Pickering, and her dear son Tim. She leaves behind 3 adult children, her children’s spouses, 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. 

She was a faithful member of Bonney Lake Community Church and thoroughlyenjoyed her years in service on the leadership team at Puyallup BSF. Both of these built the conviction that she is now in the best adventure of her long life; enjoying her eternal home with Christ. 

Her only regret is that she left before enjoying the full Mariners season. 

Memorial service will be held at Bonney Lake Community Church on July 26th at 3 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to Bonney Lake Community Church for a living memorial in Frances name.
