Lynne P. Latta, 68, passed away on June 3, 2022, in Sarasota, FL. She was born in Providence, RI to Leland and Ethal Taylor. Lynne graduated from North Kingston High School in 1971. She worked at Nielsen Media Research until her retirement. Lynne and her husband John Latta relocated to Venice, FL in 1993. Lynne was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Order of Amaranth in Venice, FL. She was also a member of Venice Weavers Guild and spend many years sharing her crafts at historical festivals and events. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Lynne is survived by her husband of 47 years John Latta, daughter Beth Latta, grandson Elijah Latta, nieces Janna and Leanne Taylor, and many friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Farley Funeral Home, 265 South Nokomis Avenue, Venice, FL 34293 at 3:00 pm with reception to immediately follow at the Masonic Temple 118 E Venice Ave. Venice FL 34285.
