Gregory D. Fahey, born in Newark, New Jersey; died on June 26th at his home in Sarasota County, Florida. Greg was a graduate of Livingston High School, New Jersey City University & Montclair State University where he earned his M.A. A high school history teacher, in Toms River, for 32 years; he also had a wonderful career, as an assistant women's basketball coach, for the state-championship-winning team at T.R.H.S. East. One of seven siblings, Greg is survived by his wife of 53-years, Joan, a grand-daughter, daughter, son-in-law, his sister Sheila and brother-in-law Jack, brother Dennis and sister-in-law Sharon, sister-in-law Elenor, his many nieces, nephews and friends. Greg and Joan spent the last 22-years happily retired, traveling and cruising the world together. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations made to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) and Tidewell Hospice (tidewellfoundation.org).
