Timothy W. Wooster went home to his Lord and Savior on June 30, 2022, unexpectedly. Tim was born September 1, 1967, in Adrian, MI to George C. Wooster and E. Ilene (Yeutter) Wooster. The family moved to Nokomis when Tim was 1 ½ years old. Tim grew up with the love of fishing and being in the outdoors. Most days you could find him with a fishing pole out behind his parent’s bait and tackle shop, The Port Hole. Tim was a hard-working man and gave 100% to the various jobs he had throughout the years. He was a short order cook, worked in the lumber yard at Kimal Lumber, was a heavy equipment operator for Venice Minerals, and lastly a AAA technician for Sam’s Automotive in Sarasota. Tim met the love of his life, Carol in 2002 and they married December 1, 2007. Tim and Carol enjoyed many days fishing at the jetties and along the Myakka River. They loved to search for shark’s teeth and shells along the beach. Tim was a great cook and enjoyed sharing it with his extended family, his favorite being a good old shrimp boil. Most Friday nights you could find him playing coed softball with his sister and nephews. Tim was a good uncle and the best great-uncle to his great-niece and nephews. Theirs was an indescribable love, that only God could have created. He is predeceased by his parents George and E. Ilene Wooster. Tim leaves behind his wife of 14 years, Carol Wooster (Lohr), a stepdaughter Christie Brassington of Kentucky, a stepson Justin Caldwell of North Port, two sons, Timothy Wooster of Washington and Terry Wooster of New York, a sister Cindy (Wooster) Eaton (Ted) of Nokomis, two nephews Tyler Eaton (Tiffany), Chris Eaton (Paige) both of Venice and several grandchildren and great-nieces and nephews. A service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 1475 Center Rd, Venice on July 13th at 5:30PM. A reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to The Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida www.wildlifeflorida.givingfuel.com/preserving-our-outdoor-heritage.
