Thomas F. Nestor was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Frank and Catherine Nestor. He is preceded in death by his brother, Frankie Nestor. Tom was known to many for his love of fishing, his hosting skills, and his unsurpassed craftsmanship. He rarely sat still and always had at least five projects going on around the house. He served in the United States Air Force from October 11, 1966, until October 10, 1970. Married for 40 years, Tom is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne Nestor. He will be incredibly missed and loved by his five children: Meredith Doubrava, Michael Nestor, Thomas J Nestor, Jaclyn McCarthy, Shawn Nestor, and multiple grandchildren. Tom is also survived by his sisters Loraine Simpson and Cathy Livingston. He loved having friends and family gather round and reminiscing on days when he and his best friend, Dennis Roy, would stir up trouble in Jersey. We will never forget the joy he brought to our lives. Tom will forever live on in our hearts and memories. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.support.woundedwarriorproject.org/. Please join us in honoring his memory on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Farley Funeral Home, 265 South Nokomis Avenue, Venice, FL from 4-7pm. A graveside service will be held at 12:30PM on Wednesday September 7, 2022, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241
