Donald "Donnie" Ray Gentry

Donald “Donnie” Ray Gentry, 82 of Venice, FL passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022. He was born March 27, 1940, in Richmond, VA. Donnie was a U.S Air Force Veteran service in Rapid City, South Dakota, Paris, France, as well as London, England. After leaving the Air Force Donnie lived in Perry Hall, MD and Ocean View, DE and worked as an electronic tech for Balto Gas & Electric for 30 years. After retirement Donnie and his wife Lenora moved to Venice, FL Donnie was preceded in death by his parents Mr. & Mrs. Henry Willard Gentry; brothers, Richard Wayne Gentry and Henry Willard Gentry Jr. all of Richmond, Virginia Donnie is survived by his wife Lenora Ruth Leyh-Gentry of Venice, FL; daughter Donna Lee Gentry-Taylor of Midlothian, VA; grandchildren Leah Ray Taylor of Midlothian, VA, Andrea Bella Taylor of New York, David Jefferson Taylor of Japan, sister-in-law Susan Gentry of Chester, VA; nephews Richard W. Gentry and Daryl Jay of Chester, VA; great-grandniece Loretta Gentry; great grandnephew Mason Gentry; Michelle Moore and Family of Fenwick, DE; and many cousins scattered around the country.
