William Joseph Riley, age 55, of Venice, FL, passed away on October 4, 2022. He was born in Red Bank, NJ to William John and Marie Riley. From an early age Bill loved playing in the back yard digging holes with his Tonka truck. He turned that love into a successful career in the construction industry. Bill operated his business in New Jersey, and came to Florida from Middletown, NJ in 2005, where he continued his business, CAS Asset Management. Bill’s love of his family was the most important aspect of his life. He loved the water since he was a child and has always lived within a few miles of a beach. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed boating, fishing, and golf. Bill was proud to give back to his community and was an avid animal lover. His favorite movies include Super Troopers and Caddyshack and was a big New York Giants and Yankees fan. When Bill turned up the music, it was usually Jimmy Buffet. Surviving family members include his wife, Heather of Venice; son Casey Riley (Emma) of Venice; daughters Alexis and Samantha Riley of Venice; brother Matthew Riley (Karen of Manalapan, NJ; sister Mary-Ann Nobile (Bob) of Middletown, NJ; nieces Jessica Riley of Oak Bridge, NJ, Kristen Pfister (Evan) of Red Bank, NJ, Amanda Nobile of Middletown, NJ, and Laurie Nobile of Middletown, NJ; and step- children Jacob, Ashley and Kaitlyn Ittel, all of Venice. He was preceded in death by his parents, William John and Marie Riley. Visitation will be at Farley Funeral Home, Venice, on Saturday, October 15th from 1 pm to 3 pm. There will be a funeral service at 3 pm, and following the service, a celebration of Bill’s life at the Venice Art Center.
