Angelo LaVerdi, age 92 of Venice Florida, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2022. He was born on June 8, 1930 in Bronx, New York. Angelo served our country during the Korean War as a Sargent in the Army. He retired as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and then moved to Venice 28 years ago and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn LaVerdi. They were married for 53 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Diane LaVerdi of Brattleboro, Vermont, Jenny Paige of Geneva, Illinois. He also leaves behind three loving grandchildren. Angelo enjoyed being outside fishing, hunting and boating. He liked dining out, the company of his friends and family. Visitation will be held from 5pm – 7pm on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens.
