Judy Hunter passed peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 16th at her home in Venice, Florida. Judy was born in Dyersburg, TN on July 29th, 1945. The oldest of two children born to the late J.R. and Willennis Minton. Judy is predeceased by the love of her life and husband of almost 50 years, Don Hunter. Judy and Don had an adventurous life together and lived in many places. His career took them not only all over the country but all over the world including living in Bermuda for 8 years. After retirement Florida is where they decided to settle to be closer to family. Judy is survived by her brother Kenneth Minton of Fort Meyers, FL, her daughters, Paige Taylor of Venice, FL and Heather Lockyer (Sean) of Olive Branch, MS, her grandchildren, Brandy Moubray (Andy) of Dresden, TN, Hunter Frey of New Orleans, LA and Jarrett Hayne of Memphis, TN. Judy also had 3 great grandchildren, Angela, Savannah and Della of Dresden, TN. Judy was truly the glue that held the family together and was best friend to her daughters. She had a generous soul and was loved and will be missed by many. The family would like to celebrate her life privately.
