Ruth King, age 93, of Venice, FL, passed away on September 18, 2022. She was born in Palmyra, Michigan on August 3, 1929 to Frank and Venus Bragg. Ruthie was the owner of the Party Shop in Tecumseh, MI before moving to Venice in 1977. While in Florida, she worked at Jacobson’s Department Store in Osprey. Ruthie enjoyed swimming and golfing, and often found herself in an administrative for her clubs. Ruthie was an active Lady of the Venice Shrine and participated in the Royal Order of Jesters. Surviving family members include her son, Mark King of Butler, PA; daughter Kathy King of Venice, FL; grandchildren Jennifer Heslip, Marcy Solomnson, and Ashley King; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Delbert and two children, Steven King and David King. No services are scheduled at this time.
