Arloine Ellis age, 96, of Venice, FL, passed away on February 6, 2023. Arloine was born on February 1, 1927, in Whitesville, NY. Arloine was a nurse working as a cadet nurse in WWII, and a registered nurse for Venice Hospital and Dr. Liliana Gutierrez. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she was a member of the church choir, and she was also an avid reader. Arloine will be remembered as a friend to everyone she met. Arloine is preceded in death by her husband C. James Ellis and daughter Chrysynda Ellis. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Constance Gens (Bob) of North Port, FL; son Carl J. Ellis of Sodus Point, NY; a sister; grandchildren Matthew Bernet, James Ellis, Cali Ellis, Kenneth Gens; Hans Gens; and numerous great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Venice Health and Rehabilitation and Chestnut Creek friends. A memorial service will be held in the Christ Venice Church Memorial Garndens, 1475 Center Rd, Venice, FL 34292 on February 28, 2023 at 11 AM.
