Katherine Styles Bryson, He has left his earthly home to join his parents and brothers and sister in Heaven; Kendall C. Bryson, Lloyd G. Bryson (Patricia), Kathryn Bryson Cooper (Billy), Donald A. Bryson. He leaves behind to treasure his memory his wife, Joanne Backus Bryson, son James G. Bryson (Tracy), granddaughters Katelyn Bryson and Brooke Harper Kozlowski (Derrick), and sister-in-law-Marianne Bryson. He also leaves many nieces, nephews – especially Keith – Don, Doug, Richard and cousins especially his cousin/brother David. He leaves two daughters and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jim was a creative man. This showed in his repair and restoring of automobiles. He began working on cars at the age of 16. He owned and operated Jim’s Auto Body in New Middletown, Ohio. After slowing down the auto repair, he worked on cars from home. Home was another place that showed his creativity. He was a member of Western Star #21 Masonic Lodge. He was a Mason for over 50 years. True to his southern roots, Jim loved to spend time with the family and friends in Tennessee especially Maryville and Knoxville. He loved the outdoors from snowmobiling with this childhood friend Jim Landgraff to fishing in Florida with his best friend Carl Van Gilst. He spent the last 20 years spending half the year in Ohio and half the year in Florida with his “Hood” Family. The family would like to think everyone for their love and support during this time. TideWell Hospice of Venice and all of the Team were very important to us and did a wonderful job. Many people were and important part of the support including Home Health Care. Our neighborhood Angel Nurse Julie spent time with Jim and sent food over. Friends sent in food. Joanne’s sister Rosemary (BOB) was a constant support. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. If you would like to do something in memory of Jim, please send a donation to TideWell Hospice of Venice, FL or place of your choosing in his name.
