Yvonne Hanna was called home peacefully on Friday February 17, 2023 in her home in Venice, Florida surrounded by her daughters Michele, Kimberley and Suzanne and her grandchild Naomi. Yvonne was many things: a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, caring partner, loyal friend, confidant, cheerleader, jokester, a wise woman, a smart business woman, and a woman with very strong faith. Yvonne was born to the late Allan and Flora Bradbury, raised in Cambridge Massachusetts and graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School. She pursued a business career and worked for the First National Bank of Boston. At the age of twenty she won the Miss Cambridge Beauty Pageant. She taught ballroom dancing at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She enjoyed many activities such as sewing, cake decorating, and horseback riding. Always a competitor she enjoyed playing bingo, bridge and bowling with the “Classy Lassies” team. She worked as a crossing guard and Treasurer for the Wayland Police Department in Massachusetts. She loved watching the Patriots football team and the Boston Bruins hockey team and was Tom Brady’s biggest fan. She raised 3 beautiful daughters on a farm in Wayland Massachusetts that she named the Tri-H-Ranch in their honor. She was a woman of deep faith who enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, teaching Sunday school and vacation Bible school and singing hymns. Yvonne was an avid and successful businesswoman in real estate development and owned several businesses, hotels and properties in Eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and Florida. When Yvonne retired she enjoyed traveling, boating and sunbathing on the “Lady YVE”, and spent the majority of her time between Florida and Cape Cod where she developed many long lasting friendships. She is survived by her 3 daughters: Michele O’Connor of Brewster Massachusetts; Kimberley Buldini of Olive Hill Kentucky; and Suzanne Hanna of Evergreen Colorado. She has 5 grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Meaghan, Nolan, and Naomi, and 1 great grandchild, Amelia, with another one due in the fall 2023. She has made a long-lasting impression on many precious hearts. To view her memorial service please go to YouTube.com/@Venicepresbyterianchurch Live videos Yvonne P Hanna.
