Paul David Butler, age 88, of Venice, FL, passed away on April 8, 2023. He was born in Bradford, PA to Anna Whelan Butler and Earl A. Butler on October 5, 1934. Paul worked for Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co. for 23 years after graduating from St. Bernard’s High School. For the next 10 years, worked for St. Bonaventure University in Hickey Dining Hall in Olean, NY. Paul moved to Venice, FL in 1990 and worked for Publix Supermarkets for 19 years before retiring. In addition, Paul was a talented beautician, flower arranger and interior decorator. Surviving family members include his sister in law, Joyce Butler and nephew Todd Butler. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clair Butler and Jay Butler, and his companion, Ernest Stroedecke. Memorial contributions should be made to a charity of choice.
