Gerald Anthony Richie, age 53, of Venice, Florida, passed away on July 11, 2023. He was born on March 29, 1970 in LaGuardia, New York and moved to Venice in 1990. Gerald was a school bus mechanic for Sarasota County School Board and tow truck driver for Upmans Towing. If he wasn’t working, you could always catch him riding his motorcycle or fishing on his boat and always there for everyone when they needed a helping hand. He was survived by his daughter, Narissa Richie and his son, Nikolas Richie. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Lopez, Gerald Richie and his grandmother, Ester Lopez.
