James Groves Jim Groves, age 71, passed away on August 23, 2023 He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Jeremy)Groves; Step-son Peter Groves. Grandchildren Nathan (Kaitlyn), Evan and Emily Weber. Great-grandchild Lucca. He was the youngest of 6, sisters Barbara and Beverly and brothers Bob, Bryant and Bill (deceased). He was born to Robert and Marion, raised by Frank. As a family we were deeply cherished. He will be deeply missed. James was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday September 14, 2023, 2:30PM, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL. In lieu of flowers and in celebration of Jim’s life please make donations to Disabled American Veterans (help.dav.org)
