Faith Anne Brintzinghoffer of Venice, Florida died peacefully on January 21st surrounded by her husband and children. Faith leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years David, her children David Jr. (Karen,) Daniel (Eileen,) Tamara, Amy (Edwin) and her cherished grandchildren James (Jillian,) Justin (Kristy,) Gabrielle, Isabelle, Amelia, EJ, Lily, Hope, Eleanor, Hazel and great grandson Brooks. She is also survived by her siblings Edward (Mary Alice,) Jeffrey (Becky,) Denise (James,) and sister-in-laws Penny (Robert,) Lisa and Kathy as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Faith is predeceased by her parents Edward and Helen Zaun, in laws James and Irene Brintzinghoffer as well as brother-in-law Eric. Faith was born September 14, 1944, in Philadelphia. She grew up in Glenridge, NJ attended Holy Name of East Orange, this is where she met the love of her life in 4th grade. She also attended Mary Lawn of the Oranges, St. Mary of the Angels Academy Haddonfield, NJ and graduated in 1966 from St. Francis University, Loretta, PA. She spent her summers in Ocean City, NJ, her home away from home. David and Faith were married August 27, 1966, and began their lifetime adventure in Key West, Florida. They raised their four children in Burlington, NJ before a few moves to PA, back to NJ and finally settling in Venice, Florida. Faith was a passionate schoolteacher and loved spending one on one time with all her students. She spent many years teaching in a few different Burlington City Schools. She would drive the school van from one school to another. She was a great Bridge card game player and later took on playing Mahjong, all the while enjoying many laughs with friends. David and Faith spent many years traveling either on road trips in the US, travels to Europe and many river boat cruises. Faith cherished her role as Nana spending time with grandchildren whether it was attending and cheering them on at sports events, plays at their schools, playing card games together or just chatting with them on Facetime. Faith made you feel welcome from the moment you walked into a room. She had an amazing smile and an infectious laugh that you wouldn’t forget. She was a compassionate, fierce, woman of great faith and she will be missed more than words can say. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Faith’s memory to a USA Veteran’s organization of your choice.
