Joan Elsesser age 88 of Venice, FL formally of Mullica Hill, NJ passed away on January 20, 2024. She was born in Camden, NJ on September 29, 1935. Joan retired as an Administrator for Conrail Railroad in Philadelphia in 1999 before relocating to Venice, FL in 2001. Joan loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling the world and loved spending time in Paris. Joan also enjoyed reading and loved all music, especially jazz and Frank Sinatra. Joan is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life Frank Elsesser; sons Michael Matthews and Bradley Matthews; and stepdaughter Valerie Elsesser. Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughter Candice (Robert Frisby) Elsesser; grandson Erik Matthews; and great-grandchildren Chris, Xavier, and Brielle. No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers to continue Joan’s love of music please make memorial donations to Save The Music www.savethemusic.org
