Carmen Bonilla Manzano was born on October 16, 1932 in Puerto Rico passed away in Maywood, New Jersey on February 3, 2024 at the age of 91. She worked for the Dept of Parks & Recreation for the City of New York for 15 years and retired in 1991. She was a lady with a big heart & great strength. Carmen was the cherished wife of the late, Rafael Anibal Manzano (1979). She was an amazing and loving mother to 3 daughters; Nancy Morrisett, Zoraida Manzano and Daisy (Jerry) Lewis; eight grandchildren, Tina, Jason, Michael, Mellisa, Rachel, Samantha, Sarah and Sadie and ten great-grandchildren, Tessa, Marcus, Alyce, Kaden, Jaylene, Natalia, Lincoln, Avery, Mila and Lea. Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Anibal Manzano and a son, Nelson Manzano. A visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home in Venice on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 3:00PM-7:00PM with a prayer service at 6:30PM. A graveside service will be private for the family at Venice Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or by visiting www.st.jude.org.
