Nancy Anne Crouse Ralls, age 83, of Venice, FL, passed away on February 25, 2024. She is now safe in the arms of Jesus. She was born in Greensboro, NC on January 27, 1941, to Kimber and Mildred Crouse. Nancy was educated to be a teacher at Asbury College in Wilmore, KY (now Asbury University) but was always relied upon to provide advice and counsel to her husband, Rev. Gordon Ralls in his ministry. This started in their first appointment at Newberry and Spring Hill. This continued at 1st Methodist in West Palm Beach as an associate pastor, Hollywood, Palm Beach Gardens, 1st Methodist in Tampa, 1st Methodist Tarpon Springs, Alona, during a leave of absence, 1st Methodist Bartow and lastly at Venice -Nokomis United Methodist (now known as Baypoint). She was down to earth and practical in her outlook and always wanted what was best for the church. She was always supportive of every ministry, especially the Youth Ministry. Every church served benefited from Nancy’s wisdom and insight and God was always honored. Surviving family members include her husband, J. Gordon Ralls; sisters Joan John and husband Bill, Clare Mitchell and husband Ed, and Martha Allender and husband Jerry along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 1 – 2 PM at Christ Venice Church, 1471 Center Road, Venice, FL 34292. A funeral service will follow at 2 PM. Burial will be at Venice Memorial Gardens on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11 AM.
