Lexington – Raymond Thomas Gay, 87, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018. He was born in Franklin County on August 1, 1931 to the late Raymond Gay and Lorena Parker Aines. He was a mail carrier for USPS and a veteran of the US Navy, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of Gardenside Christian Church, a past member of the American Bowling Association, and a member of the American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Collins Gay; his son, Matthew “Bo” Gay, Louisville; and his grandson, Brody Bowman Gay. Private services are planned.
