Connie McGowan, 67, of Eagle Lake, FL passed away on May 24, 2024. Born in Eustis, FL to Elidge and Annie Mae Pope she made her way to Eagle Lake as a child and was a lifelong resident.

Connie loved horses, dogs and, more than anything else in this world, her family. She was a plant-loving person and had some of the most beautiful plants and flowers that you could imagine. Connie had some really close friends that she called family because they were together their whole lives.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Elidge and Annie Mae; three brothers; one sister. She is survived by her daughters, Krystal (Andy) Travis, Stormy (Chris) Leggett; grandchildren, Krysten, Kyndra, Sypriss, Frankie, Josh, Coleman, Daisy, Paige, Caiden, Wyatt and Colten; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Calvin Pope and Edward Pope; and many friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
