Richard Nicholas Ralich passed away in Sarasota FL on May 17, 2024 surrounded by family. He was 77 years old. 

Rich was born on October 7, 1946 in Steubenville Ohio, the son of Milan and Geneva (Younciak) Ralich. He was a member of the 1964 class of Weir High School. After high school, he served in the United States Army Reserves. He worked for Weirton Steel Company for 18 years before moving to Sarasota in 1983. He worked as an HVAC technician in the private sector and for the school board of Sarasota County until he retired in 2012. 

Rich was preceded in death by his parents Milan and Geneva, his sister Sandra Pyle, and his nephew John Ralich. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Michele (Garner) Ralich, children; Lori Gresko, Rich, Christen, and Charles Ralich, grand-daughter Stefani Gresko, brothers Milan and Kenny (Karen) Ralich, father-In-law Charles Garner and nieces and nephew. 

Rich loved his family more than anything. He also loved to golf, travel, and watch sports. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10:00am at Bayside Church on Fruitville Road.
