Diana "Dee" Carrera
March 25th, 1941 - May 27th, 2024
Diana "Dee" Carrera, age 83, of St. George, South Carolina, passed away on May 27, 2024. She was born on March 25, 1941. Diana, known for her colorful leggings and long shirts, was a funny, loving, and kind soul. She was a loving wife, proud parent and adoring grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Diana leaves behind her loving and doting husband, Lupe Carrera, her children Mary Ellen Carrera, Vickie Carrera, Tony Carrera (Amy), and Angie Kimsey (David), as well as her grandchildren, Elizabeth Komara, Amber Ghassemzadeh, Christopher Porter, Anthony Carrera, Shawna Carrera, Christian Kimsey, Joshua Kimsey, Brayden Ford and 12 great-grandchildren and one more on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Connie Mitts, and was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Bursiel, father, Rudolph Cisneros and sister, Helen Reisdorff.
A graduate of Adams City High School and the Atlanta School of Massage, Diana was an amazing and successful massage therapist, using her strong hands to help others for over 25 years. Her hobbies included traveling adventures across the country with her husband whether it was in an RV, on a motorcycle or in a car, flower gardening, thrift store shopping, eating out and cooking, especially her pork chili. A Celebration of Life service is planned for Saturday, June 8th, at Seacoast Church, Summerville Campus. Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services is assisting with the arrangements. Diana's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
