Mrs. Levan, 70, of Statesville, NC was called home to be with the Lord on March, 26 2024.

Proverbs 3:3-4 “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Jo was born in Beckly, West Virginia on January 27, 1954. She is the daughter of Frances Rae Hart and Phillip Patrick Harford. 

She is proceeded in death by (Husband) Donnie Levan, (Son-in-Law ) Phillip D. Lozano Jr., (Mother) Frances Rae Hart, (Father) Phillip Patrick Harford (Brother) Patrick Hartford Jr. (Aunt) Peggy Ann Marshall, (Aunt)Norma Meador (Uncle)Ronald Hart (Uncle) Donald Hart.

Phyllis has resided for last 11 years at Maple Leaf Nursing Home. In her prime she was a hard working waitresses for several restaurants. One of the best waitresses I have known, for many years .She was loved and will be missed. She always added the spice to any boring story.

She is survived by her daughter Kara Lozano, grandson Phillip D. Lozano III,son Brian Gillespie and wife Jenna, Sister Pam Smith and husband Gary.  Along with several Grandkids, Nephews and Nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June, 08 2024 at 11am at First United Methodist Church 204 Mills Ave, Troutman, NC 28166. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First United Methodist Church of Troutman
