It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alyssa Joy White, 39, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, who lost her courageous battle with cancer on May 29, 2024.

Alyssa was a beacon of joy and creativity, known for her love of watching Rockies baseball, Disney movies, and crime shows. She had a passion for cross stitching, coloring, creative writing, blowing bubbles, and shopping with her sister Amber. Alyssa's childlike spirit was evident in her joy for children and her cherished moments with her niece and nephew, with whom she loved to play and color. She spent evenings with her parents, Phillip and Terry, outside searching for butterflies and the moon.

Her eclectic taste in music included 90s country, 80s hits, and boybands, a love that was sparked by her Uncle Dave, who took her to an NSYNC concert in high school and continued to take her on adventures around the city.

Alyssa's greatest joy was spending time with her large family of aunts, uncles, niece and nephew, cousins and second cousins. She leaves behind her beloved parents, Phillip and Terry White; her brother Andrew, sister-in-law Jessica, nephew Jak, and niece Avalyn White; and her sister Amber and brother-in-law Andres Oregon. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Alyssa's life will be held at a later date. 

In her honor, attendees will wear her favorite color—any shade of green—listen to her favorite music, and enjoy her favorite foods. Alyssa’s spirit and the joy she brought to our lives will forever be remembered.
