"Holyoke - Jean A. (Dudrick) Szetela, 94, passed away on October 19, 2014 in Holyoke Health Care Center. She was a lifelong resident of South Hadley, born July 10, 1920, daughter of John and Apolonia (Jedziniak) Dudrick. She attended school in South Hadley and later worked at Holyoke Wire and Cable for many years. Jean was a long time communicant of Mater Dolorosa Parish. She is survived by her daughter, Dolores Price and her husband Jerry of Pittsburgh, PA. She also leaves three grandchildren, John Price, Kathleen Zalewski and husband Ed and Stephen Price and wife Dawn, six great grandchildren, Connor Price, Lauren Price, Owen Zalewski, Brooke Price, Ryan Price and Evan Zalewski.. Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John C. Szetela in 2007, brothers John, Stanley, Charlie and Henry Dudrick and sisters Catherine Stahlinski, Mary Lyszchyn, Stella Carriveau and Vera Bazinet. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. to follow to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m at Our Lady of the Cross Parish in Holyoke. Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home.
