"Carol Norland Lange Paquette, 80, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. Her son Randal Lange, his wife Karrie & grandchildren Kristen, & Kurt of Yuba City, CA, survive her. In addition, one brother, Bruce Norland, his wife Diryl & nephews David & Peter, niece Jeri Therkilsen & her husband Terry, all of MN, two stepchildren, Diana Paquette of Belchertown, David Paquette of Chicopee, 10 step grandchildren & 14 step great grandchildren. Carol was born & baptized at home in Jackson County, MN in 1934, daughter of Adolph & Esther Norland. Schooled in Windom, MN, graduating in 1952. After living & working in CA, she moved to MA in 1961, where she held careers in fashion & office management & finished her working years at WGBY, Springfield, MA. She enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, crafting & skeet shooting. She belonged to several fish & game clubs, competed in many shoots, won several trophies & served as treasurer of Ludlow F&G. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph L Paquette of 47 yrs., stepson Richard Paquette, sister Ardith Langland, two brothers Donald & Neil Norland & her parents. She leaves behind many friends & relatives here, in MN & all over the country. A graveside service is set for Wednesday, October 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. No calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association or the Lupus Foundation of America. For additional information, visit www.beersandstory.com."
