"Southampton - Cynthia L. (Gingras) Fagan, 57, of Gilbert Road passed away at home on October 10, 2014. Born November 15, 1956 in South Hadley, she was the daughter of Omer and Estelle (LaDouceur) Gingras. Cindy will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 37 years, Joseph Fagan, and her children, Joseph Fagan, Jr. and his wife Christyn of North Hatfield, and Nicole Poythress and her husband David of Zurich, Switzerland. Her love will remain with her two precious granddaughters, Madelyn and Kayla Fagan along with her brother Omer Gingras and his wife Shirley of South Hadley and sister Linda Dufort and her husband Robert of Parrish, FL. Besides her parents, Cindy was predeceased by her sister Donna Swiel of Cape Town, South Africa. For 27 years, Cindy worked as a secretary at Holyoke Medical Center; she also enjoyed camping and gardening. She will be remembered for her grace, strength and courage. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Baystate D'Amour Center. Visitation will be Thursday, October 16 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church with a private burial to follow.
