"Palmer, Barbara A. (Kostreba) Lamb Casler, 71, died March 24. Born in Palmer, February 10, 1940, she was the daughter of Stanley and Sophie Kostreba. Barbara was a lifelong resident and worked for many years as a home health aide for Quaboag Visiting Nurse Association in Palmer. She had also worked previously at William E. Wright Co. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard H. Casler, Jr., along with her children, Debbie Carey of Three Rivers, Richard Casler, III of Monson, Donna LeBlanc of Three Rivers, and Katie Lynch of Brimfield. She also leaves her 4 precious grandchildren, Frank W. Carey V, Brianna Stanley, Stephen LeBlanc, Jr., and Evelyn Rose Casler. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her precious daughter Tammy Lamb (1991). Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 29 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.
