"Belchertown - Geoffrey R. Brown, 68, of Westwood Dr., passed away on September 23, 2014 at home. He was born October 5, 1945 in Washington, DC, son of Ralph H. and Louise C. (Tanzer) Brown. He has lived in Belchertown since 1971, and was a member of the Vernon Lodge of Masons. He worked as a environmental engineer for British Aerospace Engineering. Geoffrey was an avid outdoorsman, he loved the Adirondacks and wood working. He will be deeply missed by three sons, Keith P. Brown and wife Debbie of Hudsonville, MI, Eric Brown of Belchertown, Joel Brown of Maryland and his beloved companion, Bobbi Platler of Lake Pleasant, NY. He also leaves a brother Chris Brown and wife Shuqin, sister Katrina Fagan and husband Dan, two grandchildren Kaila & Allie Brown, sister- in-law Linda Brown and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Besides his parents, Geoffrey was preceded in death by a brother Radford Brown . Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
