"Ludlow - Robin F.(Stone) Young , 61, of Ventura Street died on September 24, 2014 with her family by her side. Born July 3, 1953 in Ludlow, she was raised by her father, Warren Stone and Aunt Louise Butler. Robin has been a lifelong resident of Ludlow and for many years, owned and operated Robyn's Sharp Shears in Indian Orchard. For the past few years, she was the director at Mansfield Beauty School in Springfield. Robin enjoyed golf, collecting snow babies and loved penguins. She found much serenity in nature and enjoying the wildlife and gardening. Robin will be greatly missed by her husband of 37 years, Gerald Young of Ludlow, along with her siblings, Cheryl Sawicki and her husband Richard of Pelham, Greg Stone and his wife Debbie of Belchertown along with many extended family. Besides her father, Robin was preceded in death by her siblings, Wayne Stone, and Laurie Ingram. Close friends may gather for visitation from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with a private service at 6:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 30th.
