"Belchertown, Robert A. Wilson, 71, died peacefully at his home with family by his side. Born in Holyoke on June 15, 1943, he was the son of Norman and Lena (Nott) Wilson. Bob was a lifelong resident of Belchertown and very active in town affairs. He was a founding member of the Belchertown Community Band, very involved in the Belchertown Fair, a member of the Lions Club and was once prseneted with the Belchertown Citizen of the Year Award. Bob owned and operated his own contracting company, Wilson Septic, for many years. He is survived by his three children, Brian and his wife Rebecca of Belchertown, Michael of Battle Creek, MI and Monica Rimar and her Husband Vincent of Moosup, CT along with his grandchildren, Heather, Kelly and Zachary. His sister, Barbara Warren and her husband Donald of Ontario, Canada and his step-children, Robert and Ronald Anderson and step-grandchildren, Joshua, Shawn, Jacob, Amanda and Morgan also survive him. A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, September 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Belchertown Community Band, P.O.
