"Belchertown-Vivian I. (Depot) Czupkiewicz, 89, passed away at home on June 12, 2017 with the love of her family surrounding her. Born in Chicopee on January 21, 1928, she was the daughter of Raoul G. and Emma (Emond) Depot. Vivian grew up in Holyoke and has lived in Belchertown since 1959. She worked for over 20 years at the former Belchertown State School and was a communicant of St. Francis Church. Vivian loved to go on cruises, play bingo, trips to the casino, puzzles and time spent at the beach. Her family and friends have been graced with many hand made knitted and crocheted gifts of slippers, baby sweaters, blankets and afghans. In 1999, she was predeceased by her husband, Florian and she will be dearly missed by her children, Peter Nepus and his late wife, Christine of Victory Mills, NY, Paul Nepus, with whom she lived, Philip Nepus and Holly of Boscawen, NH, Trudy Giordano and Rino of Hudson, NH, and Gary Czupkiewicz and Teresa of Belchertown. She also leaves her dear grandchildren, Timothy Nepus, Jeremy Nepus, Crystal Nepus, Sarah Smith, Audra Bessette, Jason Nepus, Kelly Nepus, Erin Corey, Grant Morneau, Christopher Giordano, and predeceased by Daniel Giordano (2010). She also leaves her beloved 13 great grandchildren, Montana Nepus, Collyn Nepus, Sloan Nepus, Cade Nepus, Christopher Nepus, Maybelle Bessette, Maximus Bessette, Ayva Kimbell, Austin Kimbell, Kyle Corey, Connor Corey, Xavier Giordano and Aiden Giordano as well as her sister Edna Mastorikas. Besides her husband, parents and grandson, she was also predeceased by 8 siblings, Phillip, Rita, Lillian, Yvonne, Henry, Raymond, Jeanne and Mae. Visitation will be Sunday, June 18th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church. Burial will follow in South Cemetery. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home around 9:15 a.m. or meet directly at the church. Donations in her name can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Cancer Society or any charity of your choice. "
