" Jean S. (Fountain) Lockwood, 75, of Longview St., died February 1, 2007 in Wingate at Wilbraham Nursing Home. Born on January 29, 1932 in Palmer, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Fountain and Bertha (Martell) Courtney. Mrs. Lockwood was a lifelong resident of Palmer and a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She was predeceased by her husband Charles W. Lockwood on Dec. 21, 2006 and a brother Harold Fountain. She is survived by a son Don Lockwood and his wife Shelley of Palmer, two daughters Paula Belisle and her husband Gerard of Palmer and Laurie Ostrand and her husband Matthew of Colorado. She will also be missed by a sister Marie Taylor of Anderson, CA, three brothers Gary Fountain of Palmer, Rodney Fountain of Wilbraham and William Fountain of Monson, stepsister Barbara Kenney of Riverview, FL and five grandchildren Benjamin Belisle and his wife Monique, Derek Belisle, Erik and Sara Ostrand and Courtney Lockwood. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Donations may be made in her memory to the St. Thomas the Apostle Church Memorial Fund, 76 Thorndike St., Palmer, MA 01069. "
