"Lowell - Dennis M. Dunphy, 58, died suddenly on February 15, 2011. He was born May 5, 1952 in Ayer, MA, son of Charles Dunphy of St. Petersburg, FL and the late Irene (Hill) Dunphy. Dennis was raised in Sturbridge and lived in Lowell for fifteen years. He was a US Army veteran. Dennis always has a twinkle in his eye and was liked by everyone he came in contact with. Besides his father, he is survived by two sisters Maureen Paul and her husband David of Belchertown and Kathleen Hunter of Hobart, IN. He also leaves two nieces, a great niece and a great nephew. He was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Jr. and David Dunphy. A calling hour will be Monday from 9:00-9:45 a.m at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Church. Burial will be in South Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Building Fund, 10 Park St., Belchertown, MA 01007. "
