"Monson, Marsha M. (Wood) Andross, died after a courageous battle with lung cancer on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at her home with her loving and caring family by her side. Born in Ludlow, MA on April 19, 1953, she was the daughter of Milton Wood and Delia (Chapman) Maynard. She will be forever remembered and missed by her husband of 12 years, Michael, and her two children, Scott Tetreault and his wife Erica of Southbridge and Sherry Trainque and her husband William of No. Brookfield, along with her three step-children, Michael II of Myrtle Beach SC, Felisa Andross of Ludlow and Tahirih Doniger of Tampa, Fl. Her brothers, Leland (Kathleen) , Larry(Brenda), Wayne(Patricia), Gary(Joann) and Keith(Cindi) and sisters, Brenda Chamberlain(Carl), Audrey Julian(Rudy) and Gail Ginsberg(Fred), Karen Mathieu(Paul), and Pamela Uracius(Brian) and her brother-in-law Charles McCabe also survive her. She also leaves behind her seven precious grandchildren, Ryan, Connor, Douglas, Dalton, Denver, Rayah and Trinity as well as her step-father Edward Chapman. She was predeceased by her sister, Judy McCabe in 2010. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 North Main St. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
